The holidays tends to be a rather busy time in our household like most, but when we got the inquiry from Gentry & Taylor and the date said “December 21st” – we knew we couldn’t pass up a celebration during the most magical time of the year! We were greeted with weather that was not exactly magical… but classic for December and honestly, clouds that were a photographer’s dream. Paired with the concrete walls at Clementine Hall, it was a perfectly moody, winter’s day outside.

Inside however, we were greeted with nothing but warmth. Gentry & Taylor laid it all out from their first look: the joy, the tears, the small squeals of delight. They were high school sweethearts, and we knew this day had been on their minds for quite some time. The excitement of that long-awaited dream coming true filled every room, and their history was on full display in the way Taylor looked at him and how Gentry couldn’t help but tear up looking back at her. – Which, of course, made US tear up and the day had hardly begun!

The details of a wedding held around Christmas were as you would imagine – festive but still so elegant. We adored Taylor’s red velvet shoes & her lace, long sleeve dress from BHLDN. Flowery Road absolutely nailed the winter vibe in the florals, and Taylor’s bridesmaids put together one of the best mix & match dress lineups we’ve ever seen including deep reds, pale pinks, and sparkly touches.

As with every wedding, we feel so honored to take part in & be trusted with capturing these unique moments in time. What a privilege!
