What happens when two of your closest friends look like models, have the most beautiful natural hair you’ve ever seen, and take you on a day trip to the mountains? You get a magical anniversary session like this one.

We’d been to the smoky mountains before, of course, but never to Cades Cove! Grand is the only word I can use to describe it. At every turn, you find yourself feeling small in the wide open valleys among blue and green hued mountains. We honestly could have spent a week exploring here (and photographing these two if Caleb would have let us, haha!).

Caleb & Lauren are effortless in front of the camera, which always gives us a lot of room to run around, play, and try out some new poses or games. They are two of the most genuine people we know. We’re so grateful for their friendship and vulnerability in front of the lens and in life!
