Cullen + Hunter • Modern Classic Studio Wedding • Nashville, TN

“Easy, Breezy” comes to mind when I think of Cullen & Hunter and the time we got to spend with them from engagement to their wedding day. Each interaction we shared was laid back, low-key, and filled with trust – Honestly, you can’t ask for more as a photographer! White Avenue Studio in Nashville, TN was the perfect modern venue for them. Its clean white walls and giant windows added even more serenity to a gorgeous October wedding day.

As a hair stylist + barber duo, we knew they had style, but hello, we were NOT prepared for their wedding looks. Retro and classic but somehow also modern with velvet and SHEER GLOVES…Plenty of photos below.

With the majority of their friends being in the hair industry as well, we were each welcomed into getting ready rooms bustling with hairspray, combs, curling irons, etc. Excitement and nerves were in the air as Hunter placed the most gorgeous wedding headband I’ve ever seen and Cullen read from a journal that Hunter began the day that she met him.

There were photos, the ceremony, more photos, and then…

We’ve talked quite a bit about the calm nature of the day, but I’m afraid we’ve got to switch gears as we enter the reception. Did I mention Cullen and his entire family are from New Orleans? These people knew how to party. Very few breaks were taken, a fish bowl filled with cash was being passed around, and oh yeah, Hunter attempted to give her grandmother a lap dance… Again, plenty of photos below!
